As rap as we are, we always have two asses around our faces when we play at Lokal. But we got a big problem this week because our man Jesus decided to go to heaven on thursday; Lokal is closed to celebrate that or whatever. As our usual asses is booked to a toiletdemo and can't make it to the Sometimes wednesday session, we need a couple new asses!

Brasse-Agge is one of the best on brazilian soul, jazz and funk in europe and is behind the great compiliations Via Brazil. You can catch him spin with Richard Masip (of Recordmania) monthly at Raw Fusion, in the newly opened extra room at Mosebacke in Sthlm.
When I invited Agge to Harlem World at ICI/Barrio in early 2005 I asked him for a mix. If you got one of the 100 Harlem World #2 mixtapes, you already heard it. Or if you walked by the store STUK and heard some brazilian music, that's problably Agge's mix, they seem to been playing those H.W-cds to death.

I'm waxaholic, yes I am.

This is my man Martin Cosmo. Cosmo likes wax. So he bought a few of them.
Fcuk, it´s the biggest record order I've ever seen. Doesn't it look wonderful? Look on the smile on his face. Nothing can beat that feeling when you walk home with a parcel of records under your arm (in this case; arms).

As a creative DJ you're always trying to improve your sets. At the moment, I'm really thinking of Serato or a couple of CDJ-1000 as a complement. No one can't argue with that you can be a technical better DJ with the Sereto with the double up possibilities or the CDJ-1000s, just imagine the hot cue functions and all the other possibilities.
But I feel a bit insecure what it takes me. I'm sure that it will technically improve my sets a bit. Will I stop buying vinyl? No way! but I know that I'll start to buy a few mp3 and I will not pick up those track on vinyl. I don't know if I want to go there...

The way I'm buying vinyl, diggin thru all those soundclips on the virtual recordstores, and getting the parcel with those wonderful cutz really stimulate my creativity not only as a music collector, but also as a DJ. And I want to keep it like that.

Sure, it's only about the music and always are, but music on wax feels like music with a face. Don't it?

Already there? Left vinyl! Don't be lazy! Be creative! Use the possibilities to improve your DJing! To few do!
